Forklift Certification

At CSTT, our course covers both the theory and practical aspects of operating a lift truck. The course can either be conducted with CSTT equipment, or at the customer’s location with their equipment. CSTT’s course certifies students in accordance with workplace safety standards and regulations.

Students will learn pre-trip inspections, safe operating and lifting procedures, and location hazards that will allow operators to prevent injury to themselves or other employees.

Course Components

• ✓Operating instructions, warnings and precautions for the types of forklift the operator will use
• ✓Controls and instrumentation
• ✓Engine operation and lift configurations
• ✓Steering and maneuvering, including restricted visibility when loaded
• ✓Fork and attachment adaptation, operation and use limits
• ✓Vehicle capacity (weight and load centre) and stability, with and without load
• ✓Daily pre-trip inspection and operator-level maintenance
• ✓Refuelling and battery charging procedures

Cost
