Prerequisite
Valid BC Class 5 licence (Class 5 Novice or Learner's is acceptable)
Course Times
- Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. — theory
- Sunday: 8:00 a.m. start, until practical work and assessments are completed
Good to Know
- ·The course combines theory, practical work, practice, and evaluation.
- ·After passing the course and practical exam, you have 90 days and 3 attempts to pass the ICBC multiple-choice knowledge exam.
- ·You must pass the ICBC air brake knowledge exam before taking a road test in an air-brake-equipped vehicle.
- ·ICBC exam and licensing fees are not included in the course cost — book knowledge tests directly with ICBC (1-800-950-1498 or icbc.com).
- ·Completing the course does not guarantee ICBC will issue an air brake endorsement.
- ·The course may be rescheduled if there is insufficient enrollment (full refund or free transfer if we reschedule).
